How to grow it
Dig a trench, set crowns on a mound, and cover gradually as spears grow. Do not harvest the first year. In year three, pick for 6–8 weeks, then let ferns grow all summer to feed the roots. Cut ferns after they brown in late fall. Jersey Knight and Millennium are all-male Ohio standards.
